Jan 3, 2018. Well, all I can say is the pool doesn’t look as nice in the pictures anymore. It needs some repainting. Mostly, the water was cold no water heater. ☹️ The surrounding areas in the hotel is filthy. You’re better off staying in Station 1. There are four Henann Resorts on Boracay (Henann Lagoon Resort, Henann Garden Resort, Henann Regency Resort and Hennan Prime Beach Resort) with a fifth on the way. The first three are close to each other in Station 2, the Prime Beach some way away in Station 1. The Regency is on the White Beach, the Garden behind it, and the Lagoon around the corner (within walking distance, but linked by a shuttle, available on demand).We stayed for four nights at the Hennan Lagoon Resort, and were delighted with our choice. It’s newer than the other two nearby hotels, the food is better, and the staff are really nice. It was easy to get to the beach, but in any case the hotel has an extensive network of lagoon style swimming pools, which our children loved. The ground floor rooms back straight onto the pools, so you can get into the pool straight from your balcony.The room was comfortable, well designed and well appointed, the breakfast was good, housekeeping impeccable. What made the stay, however, was the genuine friendliness of the staff. The restaurant staff in particular were great, and my kids (4 and 11 months) loved them. Special mention to Ana Mae.It’s a five minute walk to the restaurants of Station X (don’t miss Nonie's - see separate review), and a ten minute walk the other way to d Mall, which runs from the main road down to the beach.Would definitely stay again.read more

Would be a loyal customer at this resort. The service and facilities are top notch. However laundry services aren't the best and quite costly. Everything else is perfect and quite an extra experience.

Hi! I am writing this review because Henann Lagoon Resort deserves to receive appreciation for their outstanding services. 🙂 The ambiance is stunning! The staffs are all friendly, attentive, nice and respectful!The facilities are modern and classy which perfectly suits to different personalities.The rooms are well prepared and clean.Food is absolutely good! Aside from Shangri-La, Boracay doesn’t seem to have any of the big hotel chains/franchises, but they do have a lot of high-end local resorts. Henann Lagoon Resort was a very beautiful hotel with an awesome pool (and bar!). The deluxe sweet room was incredible; exceeded my expectations! It’s not a beachfront hotel like many of its competitors, but it is a short walk to the beach. They do, however, offer complimentary shuttles from (and possibly to?) the hotel to every Beach Station as well as some of the main parts of Boracay. Well worth the cost!read more

Great resort and good food. Staff's are nice. They have a bar in the middle of the pool. This is not a beach front resort though. They have a shuttle that can take you near the beach. If you wont take the shuttle it will take 5-10 mins walk to go to the beach. Most of the guest are Chinese and Korean.read more

Nice hotel in Station 2, close by the roadside. The beach is a 5 minute walk away, down a small road. Stayed in a pool side room. Very convenient where you can take swim whenever you want.Hotel amenities are what you would expect from Henann group.The staff were amazing and looked you in the eye when greeting you. Nothing was ever a problem. Guest services even gave me a small cake, as it was my birthday weekend. Very surprised however well received. A couple of negative points however, overall a pleasant stay.read more

The hotel is very accessible to transport from Jerry port as it is just along the highway. The receptionists were very hospitable and warm. Gave us a better room as requested. There is a van which brings you to the beach area. The room is huge with complete amenities. The terrace overlooking the pool is amazing. The breakfast buffet is what I wanted to eat! Pros:- The Premier rooms were pricey but huge and very clean. We loved soaking in the tub. (5/5)- The staff were courteous and friendly. (4/5)- Liked the pool. (4/5)- Their breakfast selection was limited but ok (3/5).Cons:- The elevator near us was out of service so imagine walking up and down 4 floors every time we go out! If you're reading this to know if this is located in Station 2 beach front, the answer is No. You need to walk around 5 mins (probably 2 blocks) before reaching Station 2 Beach.The amenities are good. They have a huge swimming pool, however, it's too shallow. The Premiere and Grand rooms are huge. It has 2 beds and bath tub. The beds and chairs are comfortable as well.One thing I don't like about Henann is the customer support. It's really hard to contact them as they are not so flexible when it comes to cancellation or date change requests. Also, this place is not good if you're planning to work online. They have wifi connection but it's unsecured so some corporate laptops won't connect here. You don't have any other choices because the LTE signal inside is weak.read more

Hennan Lagoon is quiet than most of its sister hotels, they are situated right in front of the highway where it is convenient. If you are looking for a front beach property this is not it, this hotel is quiet and reserves the right for you to kickback relax and enjoy the vacay. Its a 5 min walk to the beach and easy access to restaurants, convenience store and about 10 mins walk from D Mall. They have an inhouse reatuarant which serves buffet breakfast (built in to your room payment), food is wonderful btw. Rooms are modern and clean, love the pool view and best of all you have access to cold water 24/7 via the dispenser at the hall.read more

Overall the place is very nice. The rooms are spacious and has a nice bathroom with tub.Each room has a balcony facing the swimming pool the center of the hotel, a nice view indeed. You can also see the restaurant and know if its crowded or not.The food is pretty nice. Breakfast served is a Filipino American dishes. If you're not a fan of rice they have breads as well. You can also order lunch or dinner from their restaurant, I suggest to try their gambas.If you're up for some drinking but doesn't want to go to crowded bars along the beach, you can try their poolside bar. They have a happy hour from 4pm to 6pm. Actually too early to drink, don't know why they put it that time.Their mojito is good but I suggest stay away from their gin sprite cocktail. Its not worth it as it just taste like watered down sprite.Their pool is too shallow for me. It is actually big but was divided by walls underneath the walkway on the pool. So it feels like you cannot enjoy the entirety of it. But who wants to play it the pool when you're in Boracay, anyway.As to the location itself, if you have enough budget, I suggest to book a hotel along beach itself. Walking towards to beach is kinda tedious especially if you're already tired from doing activities. The path towards the beach is also dark during the night.read more

Aesthics : Very pleasing. The resort was very nice and clean.Room: We stayed at their Deluxe Room and it was more than expected. Got a room with the pool view. It includes shaving kit on top of the usual dental kits, soap, conditioner and etc.Amenities : The pool is huge so it doesn't easily get crowded.Food : Breakfast buffet is very good 101%Location : Resort is at Station 2 by the main road and honestly quite far from the beach but we don't mind long walks. Not that near affordable food choices.An additional note though, we stayed for 2 days and they asked for an incidental deposit of a total of Php4,000 which is returned after the stay. I think I missed reading this part after booking.Generally, we were very much satistfied with our stay.read more

Absolutely amazing stay from this hotel. Right from the start, from airport pick-up to last moments of check-out, the experience have exceeded expectations.The receptionist have the best welcoming aura that I've experienced in quite a while. The bell boys and other staff members have never disappointed either. Just the simple gesture of saying "Hi" and "good morning" made us feel really welcomed in this hotel. This is what I consider a luxurious pleasant staycation.The only wrinkle I could mention about our stay was when the staff brought our room service meal, he was knocking on our door like he was about to raid us. Just hard knocking, almost to the point of banging the door. Not really a big deal to me, but would like to mention it as well. I'd still give this 100% because of the overall amazing experience. Nice pool. Nice staff. Good size room. A little maintenance wouldn’t hurt. It seems like the elevator to my floor has been broken for a long time already. Walking to the fourth floor every time is a bit annoying.One problem that seems unsolvable is that the ocean breezes don’t really get inside the central pool area so it can feel a bit hot in there. The room was very nice and roomy, bathroom had everything we needed, I could easily stay here for a week comfortably. The only issue I had is the restaurant, I think the staff need more training, so many of them standing around talking to other staff members instead of walking arouns checking on the customers if they need drink refills or maybe take the dirty dishes out of the way. Pool was awesome and beautiful however, I wish it was open until at least 10pm, and maybe have some bartenders actively working when pool is actually open.Otherwise, nice hotel !read more

Worst service experienced in a hotel during our three-week journey in the Philippines, and probably ever experienced!!Definitely not a premium hotel since the personnel is not responsive, not friendly and the breakfast buffet is awful, even though considered as the best buffet in the island by the hotel.A part from that, the room is okay, but we asked to change the first room because it was having a musty smell.I will not come back to any Henann hotel for sure!!read more

Stayed here for 5N/6D.Room was great, with the exception of the shower area where there's not enough shelf to put your shampoo and conditioner, etc. My stuff ended up on the floor as it's a hassle to put them in the lavatory area. It was kept clean though so the shower shelf issue is very minor. I love the room's overall layout. No mosquitoes.Staff are very welcoming, very friendly and they communicate well.Breakfast was great. The main reason we love staying in Henann.One downer though is how they shut the bar by the pool so early, at 9pm. I think they should keep it open till 12mn.read more

Stayed here for a total of 7 nights (Dec 18-25 2022)Pros: rooms were clean and spacious with a good layout, enjoyed our in-room massages, 5 minutes to-without being right on the beach, friendly staff, pool access to pool bar.Cons: rooms with pool access has minimal sound proofing and we were consistently woken up by loud noises, sound checks and singing between 6-7am especially being directly across from the main restaurant/buffet area. Good price and location. Breakfast is standard but on our 4 day stay no bacon was served 🙁 had problems with the flush of the toilet but they fixed it right away. Shower room drain is clogged. Have these things checked once you check in. Love the pool as it was not crowded. Relaxing atmosphere but lower rooms have kids running around as these are mostly family rooms. We stayed in this property in may 2023..I was impressed! Great customer service, clean rooms, delicious food; worth getting the buffet breakfast option. Above all, hassle-free transfers from/to the airport. Once you've made your booking, email the property to book your transfers; this is extra cost but 100% worth it. This resort has its massive pool in the middle of the complex which is quite a view. The beach is about 8 minutes lazy walk but i prefer this over the beach front properties as the beach can get really crowded and noisy.I rarely leave reviews but when i find gems, they're worth sharing!read more

Overall it shouldn't be considered a 5-star hotel, especially because of the service.When we arrived at the hotel (5-nights in May), the man in the front desk was very rude, assuming we didn't have enough money with us to pay for the 10.000 pesos deposit (which of course we had...).The room was fine, but the location was not the best (corner room) and you can hear a lot of noise from people in the hall.We had dinner in the hotel once and instantly regreted it (my advice: don't do it. There's plenty nice restaurants in Boracay). We ordered appetizers and main course that came at the same time; both drinks and food took way too long to arrive (it wasn't that busy trust me); drinks were really bad. I asked for a different one because I just couldn't drink what they got me, and they failed to inform me that I would be charged for both. The dining room service is just really bad.Also, no transfers to or from the airport, which is a big flaw for a so called 5-star hotel.I think the pool might be the best thing, but there's not much chairs.read more

Rooms are as expected; comfy nothing special. The pool view is wonderful. Pool is great and large with plenty of space, the included buffet breakfast was reasonable. But if you're a brewed coffee lover, prepare to pay extra for that.Location is off the main Rd, walk to the beach is around 10 min walk.I got the biggest shock when I visited the resort Gym and was told that I had to pay extra fee to use it for 2 hrs. This really soured my experience.Overall nothing to rave about, a standard experience for me.read more

Not beach front but the pool is large and clean. Ground floor rooms have direct access to the pool which makes for a great experience. Rooms in the upper levels have balconies. Pool is open until 9pm only. There are acoustic performances in the open restaurant every night, which is beside the pool so you get to listen for free. There is a circular bar right in the middle of the pool which is fun.read more

Big nice pool, there are more than one pool. Room kinda smell. Great breakfast selection with options to sit in the private area where you can do a la carte, but it’s away from the main pool or you can choose buffet and sit by the pool. Best thing is the Direct pool access room with the pool bar just 5 metres away from us. During night time they have live music where you can sit in the balcony and sing along. Shuttle provided for extra fees. Some of the room furniture looks old and tired. Please just swap the two tvs in the room and use it to renew the furnitures.read more

Superb hotel for the money. Staff are extremely attentive and the food served was superb. Great location in station 2, amazing pool with swim up bar and sun beds to lounge in the pool. Only downside (depending on your situation) this is a family hotel and there will be lots of kids round the pool. Perfect if you want a family holiday, possibly quite loud if you are a couple wanting some peace. Over all, we had a great stay!read more

I left this hotel with a lot of stress because housekeeping accused us of taking a bathrobe, while I already gave it back when requesting new ones the night before. I even emptied my bag and suitcase with housekeeping to show them there was nothing there.The staff is messy and Karina was taking a long time to "solve" this and was no help at all. I ended up paying for it because I had a flight to catch 😡It seemed like a nice accommodation and some of the staff can be great. We stayed here for 5 days. We arrived very early and we have our 1 year old baby. Check-in time is 3 pm, but it was 8 in the morning when we got to the hotel. We only waited almost 2 hours, and they let us check in at 10 am. We are very happy because they upgraded our room from deluxe to premium room for our whole stay. Everything was good. The room was good , the staff but there's only 1 thing that really disappointed me. It was when we ordered room service food and drinks. The food was just really bad it was sinigang, and the fish they used tasted like dried fish. It was very disappointing. We paid almost 2000 pesos, and both food and drinks ended up wasted.read more

I had high hopes for this resort but the minute we looked at pool it was dirtyWe saw hair and snot just floating on topWe approached them regarding putting filter on they advised us they do this 6am to 11am but peak period for pool is 1pm to 5pm so everything just floats coming off everyone until next day.The pool was cold also due to not being filtered.We got the two bedroom and it was dirty, moldy bathrooms, dirty walls, chipped tiles and basins we paid a lot of money for this room and it just felt dirtyWe ran out of hot water several times, we had been out all day to come home to a cold shower after having 3 cold showers in 24 hours I approached reception they advised me power went out therefore hot water turns off and it’s up to the guest to advise them your having cold showers to turn onIf this is a regular thing not sure why staff don’t go around and check hot water is all turned on why they wait for guests to complain to then turn onIt also happened again without power going out again had to ring someone to come fixDeposit is 2,000 peso per day upfrontThe positive was food was very good, breakfast buffet was amazing , the pool staff were amazing and massages by the pool were excellent at 400 peso per massage. We stayed with them during our family holiday. I have nothing against the room, pool attendant and the housekeeping. My review is regarding the Hotel receptionist/front desk. They are awfully disgusting, not the way you're expecting them to be. Being the face of the hotel,as they greet the guest. In fact one could say it's perfect ..a guest has the tranquility of being away from the loud noisy crowds yet if one feels like partying at the beach pubs or enjoying beach sunsets it's just an 8/9 minute stroll to the beach .I give them a huge thumbs up already .. we're here 5 nights and I've only stayed 2 so far but it's a truly wonderful experience . I am very surprised this is a 5 star hotel. Maybe in the past, but not today. Disappointing.DANGEROUS SWIMMING POOL AREA. INCIDENT AND POOR ANSWER OF THE HOTELFirst and I think the most important: The swimming pool borders are dangerous as the base of the stools in the swimming pool bar area. I can't understand how they can be done with a kind of cement mix with stones, some of them sharp. My girlfriend scratch hershelf going into the pool by the stairs. Safety should not be a question not even in a 3 star hotel. I mentioned to the hotel team and they help to clean the wound. I complained seriously about this, and I was expecting at least, an email from the hotel apologizing about the incident.When we just arrived to the airport of Caticlan I discovered the surprised that the hotel offers transfer from the airport to the hotels. I asked to the Hennan woman that was receiving the people and She looked at me with bad face saying that if I didn't book in advance I can't took the service in that moment. People from Booking can't access to this service. I was amazed that the first contact I have with the hotel was like this.FEEL OF OLD AND WORN OUTThe general feeling is everything is old. That there are many small things you expect from a 5 star hotel that they don't do. I always try to travel with light luggage. We arrived to the hotel and we found there were many amenities you expect from a 5 star hotel missing, like shaving kit, conditioner for the hair or slippers. The hair drier could have 20 years, as the kettle that I burnt because it was a cheap plastic one. The coffees and teas in the room, the same.There are no bottles of water in your room when you arrive, and you have to go to a tap in the corridor with a glass jag to get it. The hotel can say that is to be eco friendly, but you continue being ecofriendly having that jag full of water and with a small paper seal ready for visitors that has just arrived after a long journey.I communicated my bad experience and what I thought about the hotel to reception, and I was expecting at least an email from the hotel, but I haven't received anythingI am sad, because the workers were lovely, but It is very clear that the management is not good. Lack of empathy with the guests, and basic thinks like safety and quality, poorly covered or not covered at all.If I would have to go back on time, I would definitely book in other hotel.read more

We had a great stay here. Breakfast time is very busy as there can be a queue to give your name and wait to get a seat, I think some changes could be made here to make it more efficient. The rooms was very clean and fitted out nicely with a view of the pool. The location for us wasn't great as it was further down Station 2 than I would have liked as we found ourselves getting the ebike or walking to the mall where a lot of restaurants and bars are located. Overall I would recommend a stay here as we got a fantastic price for what was on offer.read more

We spent three nights here, and it was the perfect way to make the most of Boracay. The hotel's central location ensures easy access for any transportation services, making it convenient to explore the island. If you seek a peaceful retreat from the beach, yet want the option to easily immerse yourself in the beach life, this is the ideal spot. Situated along the main road, e-trikes and vans are readily available. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. Plus, it's a nice touch that towels seem to be unlimited. We will definitely return to experience Henann again.read more

We stayed here for 3 nights recently and cannot fault anything. All the staffs were friendly and helpful. The room we had was spacious and comfy. Breakfast time can be busy with a long queue. The walk to Dmall is approx 10mins and 5mins to the beach. Will gladly book this resort again.read more

The pool is excellent, there is a swim up bar.The location is great, but probably a 10 minute walk to the beach. Henann Lagoon was nice overall and we enjoyed our stay; however, the place needs a refresh. The place needs a repaint, the pool needs to be retiled better as the current fixes as very obvious and look unprofessional.The buffet breakfast is nice and changes a bit every day, the room was nice and the aircon, shower and bed were all really good. The signature cocktails at the bar were also really good.Overall I'd say it's a 4 star more than 5 star experience.read more

The hotel is great, the rooms have nice balconies and are spacious. It is 10 min walking from white beach. Both the staff treated us great. Only disadvantage is that it doesn't have views to the beach.read more

We had an amazing stay! Nico’s hospitality was exceptional He provided warm, friendly poolside service and thoughtful attention throughout, making our experience truly memorable! JP took great care of us, handling our bags on arrival and offering assistance at departure. Anthony was attentive poolside, always making sure we were happy and comfortable. The reception staff were also very accommodating. The lagoon pool was a real highlight, with its spacious layout and poolside bar making it the perfect spot to swim and relax. Beautiful resort with multiple swimming pools central to the resort. Our family had three adjacent rooms with direct access to the pools from our patio. Live music every evening was a nice vibe. The breakfast every morning was delicious and staff was extremely accommodating and polite. I would 100% recommend this to anyone visiting Boracay. Beach, D’Mall, restaurants and other shops are either walking distance or an e-trike away. What a great resort!read more
