Welcome to Coco Kite!

The best way to celebrate the New Year and learn kitesurfing and ride kite- of course in the Caribbean on Liberty Island! You can now fly direct plane from Moscow to Cuba to the island of Cayo Coco!

The Russian school of kitesurfing in Cuba – “Coco-Kite” The easiest and the most inexpensive way to get to us – is to buy a tour from the Tour Operator “Pegasus”, with a direct flight from Moscow to Cayo Coco Hotel Trip Cayo Coco, to kite surfing school “Coco-kite”. Our school is located on the largest, white sandy beach on the island of Cayo Coco – Playa Larga .

There are ideal conditions for training and kite skiing – the constant wind from the north east and small waves! School “Coco-Kite” is located in front of Hotel Trip Cayo Coco next to the diving center and not far from the hotel Iberostar Mojito. Here, from October to June, blowing a constant wind 15 to 22 knots and shallow turquoise clear water.

Thanks to the barrier reef small waves. We will be happy to keep you company on the island, to teach you kite surfing or ride together on a different spots. Take a trip on a quad bike or open bus to see pink flamingos, which are 30,000 species here or to see the world’s most beautiful beach of Playa Pilar.

In the morning together go around the uninhabited islands (in the region about 2500 islands). At sunset, play on the waves with dolphins at the barrier reef. At the station, and at school “Coco-Kite” until sunset playing music, available seating area and volleyball.

With our instructors certified by IKO (international kiteboarding organization) you can pass kiteboarding course and receive the International IKO certificate or improve your level of riding and rent equipment. This region is called the “Garden of the King.” Here, the second most beautiful in the world of barrier reef so you can dive with scuba diving or snorkelling.

At night – drink mojitos, daiquiris, Pinakolada in the hotel bar and dance salsa, go to the beach disco or disco in a cave, live music, go to the American convertible 50s to the nearby colonial town of Moron and the province Siego de Avila! “Coco-Kite” is waiting for you in Cuba!

Discovery Level 1 – $200 USD/3 Hours

• Some kite

• Launch and land the trainer kite with an assistant
• Walk and change directions while flying the kite

Discovery Plus
 Level 1 – $390 USD/6 Hours

• DISCOVERY LEVEL 1+
• Enter and exit the water independently and safely while controlling the kite
• Water re-launch the kite
• First body drag downwind
• Maintain correct kite position in the wind window

Level 2 + The Second Stage – $480 USD/8 hours

• DISCOVERY PLUS LEVEL 2+
• Upwind body drag holding the board with one hand
• Change direction to the left and right while body dragging
• Know the safety rules and the theory for water start

Intermediate Level 2+ – $529 USD/9 hours

Our school is located opposite the Tryp Cayo Coco hotel that belongs to the Melia Hotel group, between the Iberostar Mohito and Colonial hotels, at a few kilometers long beach with white sand, in one of the most beautiful regions of the world – the Jardines del Rey archipelago (Gardens of the King)!

A constant wind from east or north east – (from right to left along the coast) creates perfect conditions for kite boarding. Not deep turquoise water, small chop and a barrier reef make the spot very convenient for both beginners and advanced riders, who can get away into the ocean, where the waves are a little higher, to have a ride at the sunset, jumping with dolphins.
