I knew the place 4 years ago : it was already the cleanest hotel and beach,, everything was working (Aircon, wc, TV, etc which is not easy on an island), good design of the hotel so all rooms have see views, organised storage and more than professional beach boy and owner always caring carrefully to the customers. But now the place is more than that : it's a really welcoming place, a one you are more than happy to live in because of confortable outdoor lounge with big beds, excellent quality local and international food at reasonable price, bar and good music. and you will love the excellent international ambiancy made of Bulgarians, French, Italians, Kazak, German, Swiss, English, Philipino, Taiwanese funny riders ! this is one of the best places you can find in boracay and i come here since 10 years. the resort is on bulabog side, so more quiet and still you are very fast on the white beach. the resort itself is a treasure as the owner maintains it with love. the only place with lots of space and even green grass.if you are a kitesurfer or if you want to learn kiting then you found for sure the best spot. biggest space by far at the beach because the beach here is bigger than at any other place in bulabog. big storage room and best beach boys who help you setting up the gear and deciding what kite size if you are not sure.kiteschool with international instructors integrated in the facility. local instructors and from all over the planet. if you are interested in this sport, here you will learn it forsure.read more

The hotel is in a nice place and the stuff is very friendly. However, something that could be a good exprience was COMPLETELY rouined by the owner. We stayed in the hotel for 3 days and 2 nights, payed for 3 nights. We also payed for kite surfing lessons through his hotel which were decent. All together our bill came up to almost 50000php in less than 3 days. When we checked out with the owner himself he forgot to charge us a room charge for 3 pastas with tuna for a can that cost 900php, needless to mention that we didnt check for it. The next day we found out that he was about to charge his staff, that earns pennys in european terms for his mistake. We found a way to pass them the money with someone who came all the way to Caticlan to meet with us. This hustle and the owners treat to his great employees completely ruined our exprience.There are great places all over Boracay with amazing staff, id highly recommend any of them but this place.read more

I came to this resort with 2 friends on friday the place was nice and the employees were super cool especially Al. He was very accomadating, always smiling, and helping out. My kite instructer Jerry was also a very cool guy and taught me pretty quick i was surfing by the second day. The owner however was very disappointing.We paid for 3 nights and the kite lessons all in all about 50000+ php We paid the bill but the night before we ate some pasta from cans that added up to 900 something php that they left out of the bill. Now we had to check out a night early cause of a storm that was coming and we didnt want to miss our flight so i checked out one night early with the owner himself. he didnt mention or check that we had a balance when I gave the key. When i paid for the room and lessons i thought the room charge was included. Now If theres something i dont like its the mistreatment of employees. He threatened his employees that he would deduct this money from them(even though it was his fault) if they didnt get it back. Al sent someone all the way here to caticlan to get the balance because if he didnt the owner would charge them for his own mistakes. Thats messed up. I feel sorry for employees working under such harsh conditions. Its super wrong and this is why i put 1 star.read more

I rented both unit types available. Basically the choices are:1)smaller unit. single bedroom with a bathroom and a balcony.2)larger unit. bedroom plus kitchen plus living area + a dining table. There is no balcony with the larger unit.I prefer the balcony. I don’t need the kitchen. It’s up to your needs and wants.This place does NOT offer free breakfast. Let that be clear because the google maps falsely advertised free breakfast.Adding to the food topic; the built-in restaurant has odd hours. Basically, earlier is better (starting at 7am). They don’t have dinner hour service. Pandemic probably has an affect on this statement and may not always be the case.Next, there is no service water available. They will sell you individual bottles for 30 peso a piece. I bought some giant jugs from a local store. I really would suggest that they have a large dispensing jug in the rooms for their guests. Especially if staying a week or more. I need to stay Hydrated if I am to soak up some sun and rip some kites in the bay.The wifi available is not good if you plan to do work. I unfortunately had to get some work done. I did a test: 0.5 mbps down, 0.1 up. We initially had plans to stay longer here but canceled because the internet was not good.There is an ant infestation issue. Honestly it wouldn’t be that big of a deal because I’m not inside the room except to sleep. But that’s the problem. They’re getting into the bed and biting me.There are lights immediately outside the small units that are just on all night. So if you like darkness while you sleep like be it’s not a great situation. The blinds don’t block it out enough. Oddly enough the upper larger units do have better blinds that are darker and better for blocking lights. But the smaller units don’t.Other mostly positive things / side notes:-smaller single rooms has mini fridge-big room has full fridge + kitchen-all rooms are beachfront-super close (in my opinion) and convenient walk to the opposite side beach > call it station 2.5-good patio furniture-balcony is awesome for the small units-large unit doesn’t get a balcony-awesome location for kiteboarding/windsurfing-they have kiteboarding lessons and rentals built in to this place and they’re flexible hours with the lessons. I could basically do it whenever and break it up into nonconsecutive days.Despite my complaints I really think this place is deserving of 5 stars. You can spend a lot more staying on white beach side and be very dissatisfied. At least at aissatou, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Everything works but the wifi. It’s clean here.read more

Where do i even start? Me and partner had an amazing stay here, from the first day up to the last. Ate aisa and her husband were very welcoming, the staffs ate bambi ate neri and kuya rodolfo were very kind. they served us delicious breakfasts every morning of our stay and their brewed coffee was very delightful. They’re mango shake and sisig were to die for.The room was very spacious, clean and had a beautiful view of the beach. When it comes to covid protocols they were very compliant, lots of disinfectant in the area.The hotel’s location was very peaceful, its like we owned the island, if you’re looking for an uncrowded beach, this is the place for you. You can walk to white beach if you want its just a 15 min walk.On our last day we asked ate aisa to prepare for us some of favorite dishes and wow , it was way beyond our expectations, they set up our meal by the beach as if it was our honeymoon it was more than what we were asking for.If i were to come back in boracay, I would definitely come back to this place.read more

Great view of the beach. Probably one of the best beach fronts in the area and on the really peaceful side of the island. Comfortable well maintained and well designed rooms. Had terrible stay for 9 DAYSPros-Nice view with own balcony-clean-has tv, ref,kettle etc (as indicated in listings)Cons❌VERY NOISY- you can hear people CLEARLY talking in the stairs,hearing their doors opening/closing and hearing the upper room walking ANYTIME.❌CANNOT SLEEP- drapes are too thin and color white that the light during the day and LIGHT FROM THE OUTSIDE during at night are coming in from your window and you cannot sleep because of it.if you are used to sleep in dark room or light sleeper like us you will have trouble sleeping .I only had 2-3hours of sleep a day and sadly i got fever and not feeling well till our last night due to fatigue (lack of sleep).We havent enjoy our vacation and no choice but to keep our stay in our room.❌LYING STAFF- the staff always lying when you needs help, like turning off the light outside your window during at night(we did complaint 3 times because we are light sleepers)but no help at all, there are times that we borrowed mugs but told us they havent thats why they gave us glass but returned it cuz it might break if we pour hot water on it.We looked for the owner and gladly she gave us mug.As our problem arise in many cases on the ff nights, we demand to talk to her but the staff were lying and told us she was busy.Thats why we cant complain formally.❌AIRCONDITIONING- Ac is not cold even its set in coolest mode(17°).You always need to use the electric fan.❌GENERATOR SHUT OFFS- you will experience many shut offs in a day and it may disturb you during your sleep.❌SINK ALWAYS CLOGGED- this is always stressed us out because we have to wait for few hours for the water to come down and we cant use it most of the time.❌HOUSEKEEPING- since i have a fever since our 3rd day(9days of stay)i want to stay our on our room but the boy named mike asked us that he has schedule to clean the room on the next day and we agreed to stroll outside so he can clean( we agreed even i want to rest because we are shy to decline him).The next day came and after we went from the stroll, the room is not clean at all.They said they forgot,and they said they will clean it that day but my husband told them we need to rest and they insist to schedule again tomorrow ( i was burning from fever but agreed to their demand again). Then another next day we went outside AGAIN(even i am not feeling well and not rested well due to the noises i heard)so they can clean the room and finally the room was cleaned.We rented a room but gave us alot of HASSLE & INCONVENIECE.We didnt enjoy our 9 DAYS OF STAY in Boracay because we stayed in Aissatou. We booked a room away from Noisy white beach but still end up the same. We booked a room for our comfortability but we experience alot of STRESSFUL HAPPENINGS.I dont recommend staying here and will not booking again to Aissatou beach resort (formerly habagat)read more

My one week stay at Aissatou and the kite boarding lessons I got at Habagat, their kite boarding school, were both Dynamite! The hotel and school are owned by Winnie and his wife Isa (sp). Winnie is this cool German surfer dude who has been on Boracay for 25 years and it feels like he's the godfather of Boracay Kite Boarding. Everybody knows and likes him. The hotel has fair prices, the rooms are large and very clean. But the main draw is the relaxed family like atmosphere that Winne and the staff (and the guests) all help to create. It's laid back, super friendly with excellent instructors for kiting. I finally got up on the board and was able to cruise half the beach after 7 hours of training (slow learner). I think I'm a lifer now.read more

Highly recommend! I loved everything about my 1 week stay at Aissatou. The location is the perfect place for a more relaxed and chill vacation, while being a short and nice walk to the shops, bars, and restaurant. I was taking kite surfing lessons during my stay and the location was perfect for that with the kite school next door and the beach in front of the resort. They serve tasty meals and coffee and the staff are all lovely and accommodating. Staying there felt like being with family, they introduced us to locals and it was a great environment to meet and get to know other guests.read more

Highly Recommended. We stayed in January there for 4 nights and it was awesome.The resort is located at the "kite spot" of the island. But specially in the evening, it is quiet there.We booked the penthouse in the upper floor. The penthouse is big and cozy. The furniture and inventory is neat and it was clean.The best of all are the owners, Winnie and Aisa will do anything that your stay in their resort will be a positive experience. They introduced us to the other guests and the staff who is working there. It feels like big family. So anytime you went to the "bar", there was always somebody to hang out or talk with.We really enjoyed our stay. Please stay as you are. We will come back!read more

Had a great visit at this resort. Met some really nice folks from various parts of the world and enjoyed socializing with them as well as the owner Winni. He and his wife and staff do a great job hosting their guests and you can tell they really care. The food was excellent and being on the north (quiet) side of the beach was really peaceful compared to the busy side which was flooded with humanity. Perfect location to learn / enjoy kitesurfing, sunrises, moon rises, and chilling out. When I come back to Boracay I already know where I'll be staying!read more

We had an amazing time during our one week stay at Aissatou. By far our greatest experience in the Philippines. The owners and staff are so welcoming and helpful.Can really recommend the food at the resort. Some of the best we had.The rooms are spacious, cozy and fitted with an AC. We had some good nights of sleep here.The resort is also located right on the beach, so it’s a couple of steps from swimming and sunbathing. It’s located on the opposite side of the island from the busy and tourist-filled White beach, so it’s a nice break from the everyday stress on that side of the island.Will definitely stay here again.read more

Rooms are affordable for the views if you get the room upstairs. RIght in front of the beach. The only thing is that it is a little walk to the city centre. The room with kitchen is the best option if you are coming with more than 4 people as you can cook and enjoy the viewread more
